The Circle of Security Parenting Course is a relationship-based program designed to strengthen parent-child connection and enhance a child’s sense of emotional security. It teaches new ways to understand children’s needs and behaviours and learn effective ways to respond. It builds children’s self esteem, helps them cope better with stress, manage their feelings and develop satisfying relationships.
The group meets once a week for 8 weeks and is facilitated by a family counsellor.
Here’s what some parents have said about it:
“ The content was extremely helpful. It helped me to understand what’s happening with my child and better ways to act.”
“I was extremely satisfied with the course. Fantastic facilitator, always helpful, great listener, very compassionate, understanding, non-judgmental and extremely knowledgeable in parenting.”
“ I feel more attached to my son and better at coping with day to day challenges”.
“I developed a closer connection with my daughter, understanding her needs better and making new friends.”
