Adult Amateur Performing Club

  • The Kirribilli Centre 16-18 Fitzroy St Kirribilli, NSW, 2061 Australia (map)

The Amateur Performers Club is a not-for-profit group, whose aim is to give adult amateur musicians the opportunity to gain confidence in performing, in the friendly company of like-minded musicians. Are you a keen amateur musician who’d love to perform in public but are too shy to do so? Here’s your chance to gain confidence among other amateurs who would love to hear you play. All levels and instruments welcome.

The aim of our group is to become confident performing in public, and to share the joy of music making. So keep in mind that you can:

  • Play any piece that you're comfortable playing

  • Play part of a piece, for example, just one movement of a sonata, or one section of a piece, or even just a few bars of music!

  • Bring along your friends and family to hear you perform.

Once you contact us with your details, we will notify you each month of the playing day and invite you to perform. Should you wish to perform that month, you can let us know what piece you’ll be playing. We then draw up a programme for that month's performances. You can opt out at any time if your wish, but please provide as much notice as possible so we can give your slot to another performer.
